Life Groups
The FBC Life Group Ministry, and why you should become a part.
At its core, we believe our life groups are gatherings of Spirit-led people who have intentional, growing relationships with Christ and each other, and who use those relationships to help fulfill Christ's mission for the church. Matthew 28: 19 says, "Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit." At FBC we are committed to disciples making disciples who make disciples. Growing in relationship with Christ is accelerated when you live in community with others who motivate you in the journey to become a disciple of Christ. Life Groups are a great way to live in community.
So, there are a number of reasons why you should join a life group; connecting with others and Christ, building intimate relationships, developing spiritual gifts, caring for one another, loving one another, bearing one another, praying for one another and many more one anothers. In short, life groups provide the means and opportunity to fulfill your responsibility to be an active part in the disciple-making process. In a life group you can’t help being discipled and discipling others. With that in mind we urge you to consider joining this ministry.

About the Group: This group, meeting at the Christian's home, is a vibrant group of mostly new "empty nesters" who enjoy doing life together as they sek to apply God's Word to daily living. This fall we will be studying a book of the Bible verse by verse.

About this Group: Our group members love and care for one another and compose a variety of ages and stages in life. This fall we will begin the study "Where Do We Go From Here" by David Jeremiah. We will be looking at current critical & troubling issues in our culture, looking at scripture to see how these events are directly linked to biblical prophecy, recieving practical biblical instruction for living with hope and courage in the face of these issues. You are invited to come and grow with us.

About this Group: Get out and soak in what the Lord has put here for us to enjoy, and get some exercise at the same time. We will be hiking several different trails in the local area. Each hike will begin with prayer, and a Bible passage for people to meditate on during the hike. You may come for one, some or all of the hikes. The schedule for the hikes will be published, and please contact Scott for more details on where and when each hike will take place.

About the Group: This group plans to meet at the church every other Sunday, and is primarily made up of young couples with children. However, everyone is welcome to come be a part of our fellowship. This fall we will be studying Parenting Children from God's Perspective - Guest speakers: Pastor Dale & Teresa Christian.
