Reaching Out to the Community

Each year we sponsor several events that help us reach out to our community to let people know FBC is here. Our main purpose is to connect with the lost and hurting and introduce them to a relationship with Jesus Christ, involve them in a group that will help them grow in their faith and then serve God with the talents and gifts He has given to them.

These events also promote good health and fitness and activities for families. Some of these events are:

  • 5K to help support Lincoln Community Center
  • Hope over Heroin
  • VBS - Vacation Bible School (Kids summer outreach event)
  • Host the Mayor's Prayer Breakfast
  • Conduct Truth Seeker's Bible Club at Lincoln Community Center
  • Light the Night (Trunk or Treat outreach)
  • Food Truck making food available to free to our community for anyone who needs
