Men of Faith is a bi-monthly men’s fellowship that meets for a hearty breakfast, wholesome fellowship, and helpful Bible Study. The theme verse is Proverbs 27:17
As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another!
Men of Faith meets from 7:00-8:30 a.m. generally on the 2nd and 4th Saturday morning of each month throughout the school year. (See the church calendar for specific dates). The fellowship time starts right out with breakfast. The men then study Bible based, life-application materials that have included studies like; Christian Counseling Foundation’s “Self-Confrontation Manual,” Resources for Changing Lives’ “Instruments of Change,” and Kent Hughes’ “Disciplines of a Godly Man.”
FBC’s Pastoral Staff takes care of the teaching responsibilities and program while many other faithful men pitch in to set-up, prepare the meal, and clean up afterwards. It is a great time and men of all ages are welcome to attend!
Our current study is centered around the book “Radical: Taking Back Your Faith from the American Dream”, by David Platt.
